Leah Premo, Alto I love the cold. I'll complain about it, but I love it. Minnesota is my home state, and I've been trying to shake the accent since I arrived in Boston. The winters here are okay and somewhat cold but don't produce enough snow. I had hoped to snowshoe to classes, but I'm satisfied with braving the serious wind. Anyway, I couldn't get enough of school, so after I graduated with an MIT Economics degree and took a year off, I decided to go back and study a true passion of mine - Music. And ta-da, I'm now a Voice Principle and a Music Production and Engineering hopeful at Berklee College of Music. The first instrument I studied seriously was the violin, so I still make viola jokes here and there. I played for nine years before I started taking singing out of the confines of my shower. Throughout college, I sang in The Chorallaries of MIT and really loved it. In order to fulfill a promise I had made to my mother, I also played violin in the MIT Symphony Orchestra my senior year. Now I'm really excited to be singing with Similar Jones. I heard them live and was immediately a fan.
